This client, a non-profit (TapsForVeterans.org) wanted a website that would automatically match musicians with requests, based on a database of qualified musicians in their area.
Requirements:
- Receive and process musician applications
- Receive and process requests based on location
- Send SMS and Email message to musicians identified within area of event
- Provide a map (global) of bugler locations with search
Additional Features:
- Provide a calendar of events sponsored by the website owners
- Provide ability of musicians to “register” to play at sponsored events
- Track registrations
- Provide online storefront to sell merchandise
- Integrate with automated email system (MailChimp)
- Live Online Chat (with chatbot)

- Include Donation to PayPal
- Include Social Share Buttons
With assistance from a contracted developer we created a custom WordPress plugin to provide the matching service.
We did use available premium plugins for the calendar with registrations.
